The Verizon 5G Target Experience @ Superbowl Live

Image
In early 2019 we teamed up with Wildlife and Momentum Worldwide to share Verizon's vision for the future of sports with the public attending the Super Bowl LIII. The engagement was a unique futuristic target game at Super Bowl Live in Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta which the player experienced through a livestreaming VR headset.
Each target was custom fabricated and equipped with LED lights that tally players’ scores in real time. We rigged these interactive targets with heavy duty triggers, mapped over 2,750 LED pixels to sync animations and effects across dual throwing bays, and programmed them to activate for key game events, turning the classic football toss ultra high-tech and 5G-ready.
